About New Harmony Health
Prevention and knowledge go
together in my practice to
advance changes for the good.
I devote 100% of my practice to
homeopathy and specialize in
serving adults and children,
alike, including entire families
who seek my help at various
stages of illness or recovery,
often in conjunction with other
methods of health care,
including psychological care.
More frequently than before
people choose homeopathy before
antibiotics, for instance, and
many of their physicians and
health practitioners do not
oppose this choice. I notice
them first reaching out for help
with homeopathy due to the
impressive results their
patients experience. When
coming for help, feel free to
bring me your personal concerns
about health care decisions,
diet, exercise, health habits
and stress reduction to address
your unique constitutional
requirements of each pursuit.
Acute care.
Short-term illnesses such as
viral flu and colds, allergies,
sore throats, stomach flu,
menstrual cramps, poison ivy,
etc. respond very well to
homeopathy.
Chronic care.
Total care involves reducing if
not arresting chronic or
degenerative complaints and
ultimately saving valuable time
and money by preventing them
from returning. Chronic issues
(mental, emotional or physical)
respond equally as well when
homeopathic methods are
correctly applied and skillfully
integrated into total care.
Professional and clinical
supervision.
The
leader in setting standards of
excellence in the field of
homeopathy in the United States
is the
Council for Homeopathic
Certification. To
roundout
professional training in
homeopathy, it is highly
recommended to undergo
professional supervision by
someone who holds the proper
credentials after completing the
formal requisite homeopathic
training. This is the minimum
standard in our field.
I provide private and/or group
supervision to such
professionals who are at
advanced levels of study. I have
mentored homeopaths-in-training
who are medical physicians,
naturopathic physicians,
psychologists, acupuncturists
and second-career professionals.
Ideally, supervision is provided
in my office locations where we
see can see clients together but
I have successfully provided
services over the phone and, in
some cases, I have traveled to
accomplish this goal.
About Cynthia
My interest in holistic
nutrition and medicine,
behavioral health promotion and
disease prevention has been life
long.
It has been my experience over
the years that a broad range of
training benefits the practice
of Classical Homeopathy and
ultimately those helped by it. A
Bachelor of Science in
Psychology from Loyola Marymount
University, Los Angeles and a
Master of Public Health (MPH)
from UCLA complement past health
care experiences with people of
every age and background
including eldercare and hospice,
reproductive health and primary
care, developmental disabilities
in children, pediatric
hospitalization, rape crisis
intervention and head trauma
recovery. No matter what the
setting, holistic health and
prevention have always been my
priority. I am also a long-time
yoga practitioner and former
yoga instructor specializing in
those with health limitations
and I am devoted to helping
others expand their knowledge in
healthier lifestyle practices
for themselves and their
families.
So, It became a natural fit for
me to begin my post-graduate
training in Classical Homeopathy
at The School of Homeopathy in
Devon, England with Misha
Norland which led to advanced
clinical training at its
satellite program in New York
(Diploma, School of Homeopathy,
DSH), the first four-year
clinical training program in the
U.S. My background training
which supports my formal
training in the science and art
of homeopathy includes
fundamentals of nursing and
pharmacology, chemistry,
microbiology, anatomy and human
disease pathology with special
attention upon homeotherapeutics,
acute and chronic diseases and
the prevention of such by
applying the art and science of
homeopathy. A constant source
of daily inspiration for me are
the various leading American,
Canadian, Indian and European
homeopaths who have trained me
over the years. Several weeks
per year, I continue training
with these various leaders, but
am mostly mentored by a leading
European clinician with over 35
years experience, Henny Heudens-Mast.
I
now, in turn, mentor and
supervise homeopaths-in-training
here in the U.S.A.
I enjoy taking an active role in
my local community. As an
experienced public speaker I can
make presentations that fit the
needs of your group or
organization. I support the
National Center for Homeopathy
(NCH) , an educational
organization working to increase
awareness about benefits of
homeopathy in the US health care
system and the
North American Society of
Homeopaths (NASH) which
grants recognition to
specialists in Classical
Homeopathy. I am also a member
of the
Holistic Pediatric Association
(HPA) and the
World Homeopathy Awareness
Organization (WHAO) , a
grass-roots effort to bring
awareness of homeopathy
worldwide. |
